In Yiddish, Fegeleh means "little bird" and in the old country it was used to describe sweet little girls. In modern times it's used affectionately in the Jewish LGBTQIA+ community to describe a gorgeous gay Jewish person. In Mel Brooks time it was used like our grandparents would use it.
